The JOE A SANDERS VO-TECH FUND INC was created as a tribute in memory of the Late Joe A. Sanders, Founder and CEO of Sanders Masonry Inc.   Joe Sanders created the Company as a Brick Mason himself. Through technical skills from his high school and specialty courses, he refined his skillset. He became classified as a General Contractor and Consultant. His business achieved the status of being a minority owned business in Prince George’s County Maryland. His family business which was based on the dedicated work of three of his brothers thrived for approximately 44 years until his death in September 2022. The business was dissolved and his licenses were retired in January 2023.  His work products were well known in the DMV area. His work ethics, financial acuity, people skills, moral and character ethics, patience, and ability to communicate with persons from all walks of life made him popular. An outstanding attribute was his willingness to employ relatives and student apprentices to share the trade while they earned an income.
